Today is the last day of Athree Book centre in Mangalore. It
has served as one of the best book centers for more than three and a half
decades. Of course it is a bad news for Mangalorean book lovers. I was thinking
from many days about getting some portraits of Ashok Vardhana in his Athree Book centre. After a very long
time, I got this opportunity. I know in future I cannot get this chance. Ashok
Vardhana has purchased a forest land near Bisile Ghat, and he is retiring from
his book business to look after it. Let’s wish him all the best.
